Vacancy available: tiling assistant (California)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Madera County, California. You should have: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone Day-to-day duties: • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints Meals and transport allowance provided.
