Immediate opening: we are hiring a fettler in Llano County, Texas. You will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
