Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry worker in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts On the job you will handle: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
