Now hiring: we are hiring a press machine operator in Jefferson County, Wisconsin. The job is on the press shop floor. What we are looking for: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses On a typical shift you will top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. $23 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
