Urgent requirement: we are hiring a dry lining plasterer in Montgomery County, Texas. The job is in an occupied house during renovation. You should have: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel On the job you will handle: • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat Rotating shifts.
