Gas commissioning technician • Calhoun County, Florida

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Calhoun County, Florida. Day-to-day duties: • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Full-time, day shift.
