Vacancy available: we are hiring an auto painter in Miami County, Kansas. You will be based at an accident repair centre. On the job you will handle: • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs You should have: • Good eye for colour matching and blending • Able to read and match factory paint codes 3+ years on the tools preferred.
