Shuttering charge hand — Shelby County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Shelby County, Iowa. You will work on a metro and tunnel project. Your main tasks: • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites Full-time, day shift.
