Foundry operative — Hendry County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry operative in Hendry County, Florida. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. The role involves apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Basic grinding and fettling skills At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
