Argon welding operator — Madison County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Madison County, Alabama. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. The role involves: • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $5,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
