Metal caster — Washoe County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a metal caster in Washoe County, Nevada. You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling On a typical shift you will fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
