Now hiring: head baker (Scotland)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head baker in Midlothian, Scotland. You will be based at an in-store supermarket bakery. Your main tasks: • Score the top of loaves before baking • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream Ideal candidate: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Full-time with occasional weekends.
