Hydraulic crane operator — Rimi

Great opportunity: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Rimi, Katsina State. The job is at a shipbuilding yard. What we are looking for: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) On the job you will handle: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. ₦135,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
