Urgent requirement: we are hiring a core maker in Hooker County, Nebraska. You will work at a busy iron foundry. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings You will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces.
