MIG welder • Upton County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a MIG welder in Upton County, Texas. The job is at an automobile body shop. On a typical shift you will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
