Lathe programmer-operator • Walworth County, Wisconsin

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Walworth County, Wisconsin. You will work in a tool room. Day to day you will write and edit G-code programs at the control; load and index turning tools in the turret; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
