Prep cook — Santa Clara County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a prep cook in Santa Clara County, California. On a typical shift you will taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch. What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards 2+ years on the tools preferred. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
