Tailor machinist — Luna County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Luna County, New Mexico. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. The role involves sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Six days a week, one day off.
