Foundry worker — Franklin County

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry worker in Franklin County, Iowa. Day-to-day duties: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
