We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator technician in Lamar County, Texas. The job is on a lift modernisation project. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics The role involves fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $4,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
