You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment On a typical shift you will remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board.
