Insulation worker — Multnomah County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an insulation worker in Multnomah County, Oregon. You will work at a busy building site. What we are looking for: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane Day-to-day duties: • Spray polyurethane foam onto walls and roof decks to the specified thickness • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations Rotating shifts.
