CO2 welder • Freestone County, Texas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Freestone County, Texas. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances On a typical shift you will set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Share your details and we will call you back.
