Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator technician in Allen County, Kansas. Your main tasks: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
