Great opportunity: we are hiring a split AC fitter in Fleming County, Kentucky. You will be based at an air conditioning service centre. You should have: • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds Day to day you will core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping; braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks; run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall; charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges; fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter; check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge.
