Immediate opening: we are hiring a coating plant operator in Rockbridge County, Virginia. The role involves: • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth 5+ years on the tools preferred.
