Turning centre operator — Hancock County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Hancock County, Illinois. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. On a typical shift you will change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; load and index turning tools in the turret; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish. Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Full-time, day shift. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
