Great opportunity: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Logan County, Kentucky. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Requirements: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination On the job you will handle: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground Rotating shifts.
