Cold room technician — Rotherham

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cold room technician in Rotherham, England. Day-to-day duties: • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers You should have: • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
