Immediate opening: we are hiring a beldar in Merthyr Tydfil County Borough, Wales. The job is on a high-rise construction site. What we are looking for: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain On the job you will handle: • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator Rotating shifts.
