Construction helper — Marshall County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a construction helper in Marshall County, South Dakota. You will work on a commercial building project. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day The role involves: • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
