Port container crane operator — Haralson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Haralson County, Georgia. Your main tasks: • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift What we are looking for: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
