You should have: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Wear safety helmet, boots and gloves at all times On the job you will handle: • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
