Immediate opening: argon arc welder (Georgia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Jones County, Georgia. You will work on a structural steel site. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Your main tasks: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
