Lathe programmer-operator — Gibson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Gibson County, Indiana. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Requirements: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls The role involves: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish Rotating shifts.
