Concrete placer • Atchison County, Kansas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete placer in Atchison County, Kansas. The job is on a road and bridge project. On a typical shift you will cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days. You should have: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
