Hand presser — Crockett County

Now hiring: we are hiring a hand presser in Crockett County, Texas. The job is at a garment factory. Day-to-day duties: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
