Kitchen cook — Renville County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a kitchen cook in Renville County, Minnesota. The job is at a busy restaurant kitchen. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen Day to day you will follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; taste and adjust seasoning for consistency; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat; marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases; prepare the mise en place before each service; label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in. Pay around $140 per day, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
