Great opportunity: wet plasterer (Alaska)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a wet plasterer in Skagway Municipality, Alaska. You will be based in a refurbishment property. The role involves mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; check walls for plumb and level as you go; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration. What we are looking for: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
