Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Armstrong County, Texas. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. On a typical shift you will grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight 1+ years on the tools preferred.
