Window glazier — Cass County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a window glazier in Cass County, Michigan. The job is in the profile cutting and welding bay. Day-to-day duties: • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
