The role involves: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites Part-time with flexible hours.
