Day to day you will watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); work out the load weight and the lifting radius; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. Requirements: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Full-time with occasional weekends.
