Quality control inspector • DeKalb County, Illinois

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a quality control inspector in DeKalb County, Illinois. You will work on a garment production line. What we are looking for: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor On the job you will handle: • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
