Immediate opening: machine setter-operator (Kentucky)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in Estill County, Kentucky. The job is in a textile mill. On a typical shift you will follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift. You should have: • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits.
