Hoist operator • Bath County, Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hoist operator in Bath County, Virginia. You will work on a bridge and infrastructure project. Day-to-day duties: • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • A good head for heights for tower crane work Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $21 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
