Urgent requirement: we are hiring a power press operator in Clay County, South Dakota. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses Your main tasks: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Share your details and we will call you back.
