Vacancy available: tower crane operator (Idaho)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Boundary County, Idaho. You will work at a container port and shipping yard. The role involves: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control Requirements: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Understanding of hand and radio signals At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
