Argon welding operator • Blackford County, Indiana

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Blackford County, Indiana. You will be based on a structural steel site. The role involves: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 4+ years on the tools preferred.
