Immediate opening: structural MIG welder (Illinois)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Alexander County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will grind back and re-weld any defective runs; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. Requirements: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Willing to work shifts and overtime Rotating shifts.
